Why is it important to include film study in my player development?
Film study accelerates a player’s understanding of the game in a way reps alone never can. By watching with intention, players begin to recognize patterns, spacing, timing, reads, and decision-making that separate average athletes from intelligent players. This lens teaches you to anticipate actions before they happen, understand why habits work (or fail), and see the game the way coaches and high-level players do.
